I just visited Kristen....I see that her Heaven and birthday are coming up....just like Josh's dates, too close! I am so sorry.......she sure is a beautiful young lady. We will never understand this will we? Please accept this Award in honor of all our precious children in Heaven.

The love from perfect strangers that become wonderful friends continue to warm our hearts. Melissa's Grandma has given the most beautiful tribute to her beloved grandaughter.  Please take the time to visit her site, as it gave me the comfort needed to know that I'll never be alone in my saddness, and our angels will never be alone in heaven.

Melissa was the JOY of my life, and it's been a long and painful journey, but I feel I have honored her memory both with my poetry, website and the book I published for her. Like you, she was my best friend and we shared more than a lot of Grams share with their granddaughters. Maybe it was because she was the first girl in our family after the loss of my only daughter... whatever the reason, she touched my soul in a way that no other ever has.
