Kristen, Our Angel

    

     Thursday, December 4th, 2003, many of Kristen's friends from Normal Community West High School held a candlelight service at Brigham School, the school where Kristen and a few of her friends were arrested for building a Hillibilly Hotel atop of the school. What an appropriate tribute to our Angel, from such a caring group of friends.

  

  Students, friends & family gather in the parking lot.  The snow gently falls, like the day she was born.

           

    Jerry and I shared a candle in memory of Our Angel.                      Jeff holds his candle.

           The light shinning over Nate, Gramma and Jeff, where is it from?  There was no lights in parking lot? 

We belive that Kristen was watching over all of us, and continues to do so!   

Light a Candle

To shatter all the darkness and bless the times we knew.

The seasons come and go, and I'm weary from the change.

You filled my life with wonder, touched me with surprise,

We carried on with pride.

Candles continue to burn after the service was over. 

Our appreciation to all of KD's friends for sharing such a special day in her memory. Each and every one of you are very special.
